The Pyrenées the magnificent mountains in the south

The magnificent Pyrenées stretch along the entire south west of France, and border to Spain.
The atmosphere here is mixed by both countries and the area is characterized by outdoor activities, such as cycling, hiking, skiing.  The famous "Tour de France" bike race has several famous races in the area and the popular pilgrim walk takes place over the mountains from Saint-Pied-de-Port to Pamplona in Spain.

The food is wonderful with delicacies such as Duck and Lamb, and is also the center of production of the Foie Gras. .This area is also a paradise for cheese lovers, and the specialties is cheese from sheep and goat.

The local wine comes from the vineyards around Saint Mont and Jurancon and are absolutely amazing with high quality.

Here the air is clean, the water comes from mineral springs in the mountains and you find several pspa facilities with a focus on the minerals. The people who live here are incredibly warm and open hearted, so this is an incomparably beautiful area to discover and enjoy.
