Montpellier and Sete – where the Roman history meets little Italy
Montpellier is a hidden diamond with history from the Roman Empire. The atmosphere is relaxed and international as many foreign students come here to study. The city breathes positivity and is full of energy with a completely car-free city center, perfect for strolling around in the beautiful streets of the old town and to stop for a drink or a dinner in a cozy restaurant in a hidden alley.
Seté on the edge of the Mediterranean, called "little Venice" with roots from Italy and breathes a fantastic atmosphere of southern Europe. Around Seté you find the Mediterranean's best oyster spots, Bouzigues, Méze and Marseillan are fantastic little fishing villages with seafood in focus.
The beach goes on for miles from the little village of La Corniche to the city of Agde. A paradise on earth and except during July and August, you have the beaches to yourself together with the locals.

The food in the area is absolutely incomparably fantastic with focus on fish and seafood that is delivered fresh on a daily bases. The local wine is cheaper than a bottle of water so if you are a food and wine lover, this is a paradise on earth.
