Carcassonne and Limoux- where the bubbles were born

Carcassonne is characterized by the old town from the Middle Ages called "Le Cite" and it is pure magic to walk through the old gates.

Limoux is the birthplace of the bubbly drink known as Cava in Spain, Champagne in Reims and Cremant in the south. It was in the monastery in the small village of Saint- Hilaire that the monks made the very first bubbly drink and the whole area is characterized by the production of Cremant.
